I have a bit of a thing for Buzzards…. our commonest bird of prey they may be, but they are beautiful, powerful, and when they call from inside the woods, or soar on the thermals over my garden, I feel privileged, like they have shown themselves to reassure me of the ever-present beauty and power of nature, even in an over-developed country like England.
